History
Marapana has been operating for the last five years as a Horse Agistment park, and for the last four years has combined the Horse Agistment with the Farm Stay Bed and Breakfast. Initally the Bed and Breakfast operated for agistees who kept their horses at Marapana and came up on weekends to ride.
The Bed and Breakfast soon grew to host families who wanted to come and stay on a farm. We now take families, couples and singles who want a relaxed weekend away from the city. We have some families who are regular visitors to Marapana, making us their annual holiday!
We also host horse riders who want to ‘Holiday with their Horse’ and who bring their horses with them. Accommodation for the horses is in their own private paddocks, while their owners enjoy the luxury of the farm house.
